26 and 27 August 2011, at the Priory of the Annunciation in Paris, first meeting of the new European Council of Lay Dominican Fraternities elected at Caleruega on 30 May by the European Assembly
In it’s first meeting, in Paris, 26-27 August, the members of ECLDF made their elections.
Officers as follows: President, Ruth Anne Henderson,(Italy);
Secretary, Jean Michel Solente, (France);
Treasurer, José A. Muñoz Mata, (Spain);
Formation Officer, Leny Beemer, (The Netherlands).
Communications Officer, Jacinta O Donnell, (Ireland).

La Huitième Assemblée Européenne des Fraternités Laïques Dominicaines a eu lieu à Caleruega du 26 au 30 Mai . ( 1988, Prouilhe ; 1992, Budapest, ; 1995, Varsovie ; 1998, Vienne (Autriche) ; 2001, Fognano, (Italie) ; 2004, Walberberg (Allemagne) ; 2008, Trencianske Teplice (Slovaquie) ; 2011, Caleruega ).

Klaus Bornewasser from Province of Germany has beeen elected to be member of ICLDF, starting in June 2012.
