Duncan MacLaren, of the Glasgow Lay Dominicans, is a member of the International Dominican Commission for Justice and Peace in Geneva and he asks for the help of all the European Lay fraternities:
Dear Brothers and Sisters in St Dominic,
My name is Duncan MacLaren and I am the male lay representative on the International Dominican Commission for Justice and Peace (IDCJP). After the Lay Congress in Fatima in October, the Commission will hold its meeting in Rome where I shall present a report on lay activity globally on justice and peace issues, along with my colleague representing the female laity, Teresita, from Argentina.
I append the templates. I would be grateful if you could complete them by mid-August. As you see, one template is a local report on justice and peace activities which have been carried out in the past year in the area of your competence, and the other template is to be filled out by the Promoter (if you have one).
I am very grateful to you for your help. Please return the templates to me in Word, on email@example.com.
In St Dominic and St Catherine,
Duncan MacLaren OP
